Boldin Coaching: Tailored Guidance for Your Financial Planning Needs
Boldin's 1:1 coaching sessions offer a fresh, expert perspective on your financial plan. These private, 50-minute Zoom sessions, priced at $250, are designed to provide reassurance, clarify strategies, track retirement objectives, and determine next steps.
Why Schedule a Coaching Session?
A coaching session is ideal if you:
Want to verify the accuracy of your entered information.
Want to learn how to use the advanced features and leverage the tool to its greatest potential.
Need help modeling specific scenarios or finding workarounds for software limitations.
Have questions about the software's features, operations, computations, or results.
Wish to discuss your goals and track progress using Boldin's metrics.
Want ongoing support as life evolves.
Prerequisites for a Successful Coaching Session:
To maximize the benefits of a coaching session, we recommend spending some time entering your information and exploring the Boldin platform, including the AI agent, Classroom, Live Events, and Help Center prior to scheduling your session.
To be best prepared, we also recommend you follow these preparation guidelines:
Gather Pertinent Financial Details:
Have details of key financial accounts, such as primary savings or investment accounts, ready for discussion. This will help you save time during the session.
Input as Much Data as Possible:
Complete as much of the Planner as you can. This allows your coach to have a clear understanding of your situation, enabling more pointed and actionable guidance.
Take time to enter specific individual names on accounts, income streams, pensions and annuities. Understanding the account ownership as well as earner or recipient of each income stream will ensure that your coach has a clear picture of your narrative.
If bringing in a financial plan from an external advisor, set it up in Boldin before the session. While the coach can assist with setup, sessions are more productive when foundational work is done in advance.
Review Supplemental Resources:
Explore instructional resources in Boldin's Classroom or Help Center, such as the 'Get Started' series. Attend the live 'Boldin Way to Plan series,' offered on a daily basis. Use the AI Assistant to ask specific question and review articles and videos in the Help Center. Familiarizing yourself with the software and any data entry specific to your circumstances will make your session more efficient.
What to Expect During a Coaching Session:
Your Coach Will:
Discuss your financial position, financial goals, and objectives for the session.
Review your chosen scenario and forecast assumptions.
Conduct a step-by-step walkthrough of all data in your plan.
Share the plan in View-Only mode (changes will not be saved).
Answer your questions about the tool.
Address your questions regarding financial and retirement planning.
The agenda will be driven by your priorities and specific questions, focusing the discussion on areas where you require the most help.
Your Coach Will NOT:
Provide specific financial or investment advice.
Change data in your plan.
Have access to your credit card or account linking information.
Intake specific feedback and feature requests for the product team.
You will be responsible for entering the information in the software.
After the session, consider the following steps to continue making progress:
Complete any unfinished data inputs or adjustments identified during the session.
Utilize Boldin's learning resources, such as the Classroom or Help Center, to deepen your understanding of the tools discussed.
Review insights from the session to refine your financial planning and streamline next steps.

We recommend exploring the 'Get Started' and 'Intro to Planning' series, which include detailed guides, videos, and resources to help users maximize the platform's tools.
How does a coach session differ from working with Boldin Advisors?
Boldin Advisors provides fee-only financial advice, primarily through its Retirement Plan Checkup. This service includes two one-on-one sessions: an initial meeting to discuss your plan and goals, and a subsequent session to deliver your personalized report. The Retirement Checkup Plan covers a comprehensive range of topics, including goal planning, tax planning, risk tolerance assessment, investment strategy, Roth conversion suggestions, Social Security strategy, a Stress Test, estate planning, insurance, charitable giving, Medicare, and long-term care considerations.
Should I have a coach session prior to working with Boldin Advisors?
While valuable, booking a plan review session with a Boldin coach is not a prerequisite to working with Boldin Advisors. Your plan data will be reviewed when you begin your engagement with Boldin Advisors.
