Overview

The Retirement Goal section allows you to clearly define what retirement looks like for you, in your own words.

Rather than focusing only on numbers, this is where you can capture the why behind your plan. What you want your time, lifestyle, and priorities to look like once work becomes optional.

This context helps bring your plan to life and keeps it aligned with what actually matters to you.

How to Access Your Retirement Goal

You can find and update your Retirement Goal at any time:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner

  2. Select Your Profile

  3. You'll see the Retirement Goal section

  4. Enter or update your goals

Why This Matters

A strong financial plan is not just about hitting a number. It is about supporting the life you want to live.

Defining your retirement goal helps you:

  • Clarify your vision
Put into words what retirement means to you beyond just “stopping work”

  • Stay aligned with your priorities
Whether it is travel, flexibility, family time, or something else entirely

  • Make better planning decisions
Your inputs and scenarios are easier to evaluate when you know what you are optimizing for

  • Add context to your plan
It connects the numbers in your plan to real-life outcomes

How to Use It Effectively

You do not need to overthink it. A few sentences is enough.

Focus on things like:

  • How you want to spend your time

  • What flexibility or freedom looks like

  • Any major lifestyle goals or changes

You can update this at any time as your goals evolve.

Your plan is more powerful when it reflects both the numbers and the life behind them. The Retirement Goal section is a simple way to keep those connected.
