Document Vault (Beta): Secure Storage for Your Financial Documents

This article describes Boldin's Document Vault feature that is currently in Beta.

Written by Nancy Gates

What is Boldin's Document Vault?

Boldin's Document Vault is a secure home for your financial documents inside Boldin. Upload your statements, tax returns, insurance policies, and estate documents — they're stored with bank-level encryption and organized in one place.

Once a document is in your Vault, you can ask Boldin AI questions about what's inside it, so your document's aren't just stored, they're accessible.

Availability

The Document Vault is currently in beta and available to PlannerPlus members opted into Boldin's beta program. To enable beta features, go to your Profile (top right) → Account settingsBeta and toggle it on.

How to Use The Document Vault

Step 1 — Open The Document Vault

Go to Document Vault in the left navigation of your Boldin Plan. Your document library opens — empty at first, ready to fill.

Step 2 — Add a document

Select "Add file" and choose a document from your device (up to 25 MB, in any support format - see Supported File Formats below). Your document is encrypted immediately on upload.

Step 3 — Your document is stored securely

Once uploaded, your document appears in your Vault organized by type. It's encrypted in transit and at rest with AES-256 — bank-level secure, stored for life.

Step 4 — Ask Boldin AI about it

Open any document in your Vault and ask Boldin AI questions about what's inside. What's the account balance? What does this policy cover? What's the beneficiary listed? Boldin AI reads the document and answers from the actual content.
