Planner Score: A Deeper Look
The Planner Score is a metric designed to measure the completeness of a user's financial plan. It provides a standardized way to ensure that the Boldin AI model has sufficient real-world inputs to generate accurate projections, such as the Chance of Success.
Scoring Methodology
The current scoring system is based on an additive model where points are earned as users complete specific planning milestones.
Total Points Available: Users can earn a total of 290 points during the beta phase.
Scoring Legs: Points are distributed across two primary categories: Build (core plan information) and Explore (engagement with planning tools). A third "Refresh" leg is planned for a future release.
Element Weighting: Every individual element is worth exactly 10 points; there is no specific weighting based on perceived importance.
Persistence: Points are purely additive and do not decrease during the beta period.
Completion via Negation: For elements that do not apply to a user (e.g., non-mortgage debt), confirming "I don't have any" counts as complete and awards the 10 points.
Scenario Specificity: The score is unique to the specific scenario being viewed.
Improving Your Planner Score
The Planner Score provides a simple way to measure how complete your financial plan is. The goal is to provide enough detail so the Boldin model can generate the most accurate projections possible.
1. The "Build" Leg (Core Plan Details)

Quick Tips for Success
Confirm "None": If a section doesn’t apply, confirming "none" still awards full points.
