Scenarios

Exploring alternate scenarios is a crucial step in the planning process and the Boldin planner allows you to outline almost any situation and visualize the short-term and long-term impacts of different decisions on your financial future. The planner generates generates intuitive graphs based on the information you provide and as you adjust things—such as changing your work income and retirement date—allows you to instantly see the short and long term impact.

PlannerPlus subscribers have the ability to create up to 10 scenarios, edit and delete scenarios, re- assign a new scenario as your baseline, and compare scenarios side by side.

What if you work an extra year? What if you spend less in the later years of retirement vs. the earlier years? What does it look like if you take Social Security at 70 instead of 67? Worried about a bear market or high inflation? You can explore all of these options and more in our software.

Scenario Assumptions

When you build a plan with Boldin it will only have one scenario and you may add up to 9 additional scenarios. You may re- assign a new scenario as your baseline, however you must always have one baseline scenario. If you would like to delete all of your data and go through the initial onboarding process again, please send a message to the Services Team and they will reset your plan for you.

Some assumptions are shared between scenarios and may not be changed. See this article for more information.
